§ Mr. Michael Brownasked the Secretary of State for Northen Ireland if he will make a statement about the visit to the United States of America of two officials concerned with Northern Ireland.
§ Mr. Humphrey AtkinsTwo officials from the Northern Ireland Office visited the United States from 20 June to 26 June. The visit was part of the regular work of briefing United States officials, journalists and others interested in the Government's policy in relation to Northern Ireland. Such visits take place from time to time and I am satisfied that they are valuable in ensuring that the Government's case is presented abroad, both actively and accurately.
