§ Mr. Bowdenasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if the Government still intend to introduce arrangements for bringing State retirement pensions into the PAYE system from April 1982; and, if so, what consultation has taken place with organisations representing pensioners about the need for information and publicity for these changes.
§ Mr. Peter Rees[pursuant to his reply, 1 July 1981, c. 384]: The date for the introduction of the scheme is at present under review, but as part of the preparations for it we shall certainly be in touch with pensioner representative organisations about the requirements for information and publicity.
