§ Mr. RaisonYes. The psilocybin mushroom grows naturally in this country; a prohibition on its deliberate cultivation would therefore serve little purpose and be difficult to enforce. The preparation of these mushrooms to obtain the drug psilocin without a licence would be an offence under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
