§ Mr. RossiThere is no specific period for which social security officers are assigned to special fraud investigation duties, but normally the minimum period for such an assignment is three years. Suitable officers are selected 101W from the executive officer grade for service as special investigators and they return to general administrative duties at the end of such service.
