§ Mr. Heddleasked the Secretary of State for Energy what representations he has received concerning the excessive rise of costs for obtaining gas supplies to new residential developments.
§ Mr. Norman LamontI have received representations from the Housebuilders Federation about the level of connection charges for new dwellings made by the British Gas Corporaion. These have been both direct from the president, and on their behalf from my hon. Friend the Member for Warwick and Leamington (Mr. Smith).
