§ Mr. Lathamasked the Prime Minister whether she will list the occasions and dates since 9 January 1980 when she has met official representatives of the Trades Union 389W Congress at a formal meeting to discuss policy issues, excluding meetings with Civil Service unions to discuss Whitley conditions; and whether there has been any occasion when she has refused to meet a Trades Union Congress deputation after the congress had officially requested one.
§ The Prime MinisterI met the Trades Union Congress General Council on 14 October 1980, and I chaired the National Economic Development Council on 4 February 1981. I have not received any other official request from the congress for a meeting with a TUC deputation in this period.
