§ Mr. Alfred Morrisasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what representations he has received to use his default powers under section 36 of the National Assistance Act 1948 from the Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation; and if he will list the council concerned, the date the representation was received, the date of his reply and the action he has taken in each case.
§ Mr. RossiRepresentations have been received from the Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation concerning six local authorities, in some instances referred to more than one case. The initial applications were received on the following dates:

A full reply to the points concerning Wiltshire and Richmond-upon-Thames was sent to RADAR on 12 May. Inquiries are still being pursued in the other cases. Full replies will be sent as soon as the inquiries are complete.
