§ Mr. Ernie Rossasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he has given any financial assistance to the voluntary organisation Gingerbread; what was the amount donated in the last year; and if he intends to increase it in the future.
§ Mr. FairgrieveGrants have been made to the Scottish headquarters of Gingerbread under section 10(1) of the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968 since 1977. In the financial year 1980–81 my right hon. Friend gave a grant of £10,900. An application for financial assistance from the organisation for 1981–82 is at present under consideration.
