§ Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Lord Privy Seal whether he will make a statement about the present extent and administration of United Kingdom aid to Pakistan for the relief of Afghan refugees.
§ Mr. HurdWe have so far provided £770,000 in cash or emergency supplies for the work of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees for Afghan refugees in Pakistan. We have also provided approximately £1.4 million as our share of the European Community's contribution to the UNHCR's work for these refugees.
