§ Mr. John Patten[pursuant to his reply, 19 January 1981]: A large volume of submissions and comments has been received on the Chilver report about the future structure of teacher training. The closing date for comments was the end of November. Decisions on future arrangements will be taken only after these comments have been carefully studied and further discussions have been held with the major interests involved.
