HC Deb 12 January 1981 vol 996 cc431-2W
Mr. Morgan

asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will suspend or reduce low-flying aircraft training exercises over the hill areas of Wales during the months of March and April 1981, on account of their adverse effect on lambing.

Mr. Pattie

Military low-flying training must be carried on throughout the year, but we try to ensure that it is distributed as widely and evenly as possible across the country. These arrangements are designed to minimise disturbance in particular areas and will continue to apply during March and April 1981.
