asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many reviews have been started to date by local authorities of local charities as recommended under section 11 of the Charities Act 1960.

I am informed by the Charity Commissioners that they believe that reviews under the Charities Act 1960 covering all or some part of a county have been instituted in every county in England and Wales except West Sussex. Some of the reviews were not completed; but the records do not show how many.
