§ Mr. Humphrey AtkinsRecords are not maintained in such a manner as to make it possible to identify by religious or terrorist affiliation those who have died or who have killed others during the current campaign of violence in Northern Ireland.
The Royal Ulster Constabulary is still treating as cases of murder 1,298 deaths which occurred between 1 January 1969 and 31 December 1980 in respect of which no one has yet been arrested and charged.
