§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he is aware of the possibility of a strike in the national water supply industry; and if he will take action to assist in resolving this industrial dispute and the prevention of the consequences of such a strike.
§ Mr. KingI have been aware of the possibility of industrial action in the water industry but I understand that the pay negotiations, in which the Government play no part, were resumed on Tuesday 3 February.
