§ Mr. Peter Robinsonasked the Prime Minister if she will give the complete list of subjects for which it has been agreed to commission joint studies with the Government of the Republic of Ireland; how often the joint study groups on each of these subjects have met; when and where such meetings took place; and who was present.
§ The Prime MinisterThe joint studies at official level concern possible new institutional structures, citizenship rights, security matters, economic co-operation, and measures to encourage mutual understanding. These studies are being conducted by official working parties under the supervision of a steering group of senior officials. Progress will be reported to Ministers before our next bilateral discussions.
