§ Mr. Cyril D. Townsendasked the Lord Privy Seal if he will ensure that ratification of the United Nations convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women is not further delayed.
§ Mr. HurdWe shall take a decision on ratification as soon as possible, but in view of the wide scope of the convention and the need to consult the Channel Islands. the Isle of Man and the dependent territories in detail I cannot say when this will be.
