§ Mr. MacGregorStatistics for inter-regional movement of manufacturing industry to the development areas 1966–75 have been published in table 4.5 of the Department of Industry report "Industrial movement in the United Kingdom 1966–75" by R. J. Pounce—HMSO 1981. Information has subsequently become available which indicates that a further 6,000 jobs will be created by inter-regional moves to the development areas which commenced operation in 1976 and 1977. Information for later years is not yet available.
