asked the Lord President of the Council how much was paid by way of financial assistance to each of the Opposition parties since the General Election of 1979 on an appropriate annual basis.

Financial assistance payments made to Opposition parties since the General Election of 1979 on a calendar year basis are as follows:

in Northern Ireland, or whom the Royal Ulster Constabulary would like to interview in relation to murders, are believed by the police to be living in the Republic of Ireland. It is not possible, however, to give precise estimates of the numbers in either case.
