§ Mr. John Grantasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will agree to the request of the trade unions which met the Minister of State, Department of Employment on 26 November and give active support to the Advisory Conciliation and Arbitration Service recommendation that voluntary industry-wide collective bargaining machinery should be established in the contract cleaning industry.
§ Mr. AlisonI am at present considering the representations which unions, employers and other parties have made on the report and its recommendations with a view to making early decisions.
