§ Sir Nigel Fisherasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will take steps to bring to the attention of the United Nations' agencies the recommendations of the Leeds Castle international seminar on the prevention of disablement.
§ Mr. RossiI hope that Sir John Wilson, who conceived the idea of the seminar, will himself be able to present the 215W findings—known as the Leeds Castle declaration on the prevention of disablement—to the United Nations General Assembly on behalf of the United Kingdom later this month. I am myself taking every appropriate opportunity to ensure that they are brought to the attention of interested bodies. I have placed a copy of the declaration in the Library.
