§ Mr. BlakerThere are over 50 different types of antitank weapon systems currently in service with NATO forces. These include missiles, rockets, shells and mines designed specifically for use against armoured vehicles, as well as more general battlefield systems, such as NATO's own tanks, artillery and ground support aircraft capable of engaging a wide range of surface targets. The effectiveness of the different systems would vary according to the tactical situations in which they were used.
