§ Mr. Peter MorrisonThe average numbers of people in Great Britain joining and leaving the unemployment register at employment offices each month in the three months ending March were 348,000 and 277,000 respectively, seasonally adjusted. These figures represent on average about 90 per cent. of all those who joined or left the register each month.
