§ Mr. TebbitThe National Enterprise Board acquired its shareholding in United Medical Enterprises in March 1978 at a cost of £5,774,300. This figure includes a prior investment in March 1977 of £250,000 in a subsidiary company, United Medical Company International Ltd. In addition, the NEB has provided United Medical Enterprises with a loan of £450,000.
