§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Wales what is his estimate of the total annual expenditure of his Department on travelling by railway.
§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsMost rail travel is covered by the issue of railway warrants, the cost of which amounted to about £104,000 in the year ending 31 March 1981. The cost of rail travel not covered by the issue of railway warrants cannot, however, readily be distinguished from other travelling and subsistence expenditure.
