On 1st February 1981, and 1st March 1981, the number of staff in post was 213 and 215 respectively.

§ Lord BelsteadIn 1980 23,147 persons, including minors, were registered in the United Kingdom as citizens of the United Kingdom and Colonies, and 5,669 adults were granted naturalisation. In January 1981 the figures were 1,861 and 595 respectively, and in February 1981, 1,914 and 456.
