§ Mr. Fieldasked the Minister for the Civil Service if he will list any additions to the collection, presentation or publication of statistics which his Department has made since May 1979.
§ Mr. ChannonSince May 1979 the Civil Service Department has published two additional tables in the 1980 edition of "Civil Service Statistics".
These are:
Table 10: Analysis of leavers in certain Civil Service groups and classes by main cause of leaving. Table 11: Voluntary leavers and age retirement from the administration group by age group. In addition, statistics on the age distribution of senior civil servants were published in the 1979 issue of "Social Trends" (published by CSO) and a table of statistics on the length of service of civil servants located in Wales was published in the 1980 issue of the Welsh digest of statistics. A review of Government statistical services is at present under way but is not yet complete.
