HC Deb 28 October 1980 vol 991 cc231-2W
Dr. Edmund Marshall

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department on what date he received from the Local Government Boundary Commission for England its report on new electoral arrangements for the districts of North Dorset; and what representations he received concerning that report.

Mr. Brittan

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England submitted its report on 13 August. The only representation received was from Winter- borne Stickland parish council which advocated alternative warding arrangements for the seven component parishes of the commission's proposed Abbey ward. An order giving effect to the commission's proposals without modifications was made on 7 October.
