§ Mr. Freudasked the Secretary of State for Employment what measures are planned under the Government youth opportunities programme for job creation for young people in East Anglia during 1981.
§ Mr. Jim Lester[pursuant to his reply, 26 November 1980]: I am informed by the Manpower Services Commission (MSC), which administers the youth opportunities programme (YOP), that plans for the 1981–82 financial year have not yet been finalised. Revised plans for the financial year ending March 1981 make provision for some 10,450 entrants to YOP for the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.
