asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what was the average price of a 250 gram packet of New Zealand butter in each month since June 1980 up to the latest date for which figures are available; and how much of the price was represented by import levies.

The average price of New Zealand butter recorded for the purposes of the retail price index, and the average levy applied to imports of New Zealand butter, in each month since June were as follows:
