§ Mr. Wrigglesworthasked the Minister for the Civil Service if the Pay Research Unit will be kept in being during the suspension of pay research procedures.
§ Mr. ChannonIt is intended that the Pay Research Unit should remain in being whilst the Government continue their talks with the Civil Service unions about possible changes to the pay research system for the longer term.
