HL Deb 06 November 1980 vol 414 cc1247-8WA
Lord AVEBURY

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the present facilities for the preparation of medical reports on an out-patient basis at Brixton, Holloway and Durham prisons and at Risley remand centre could be extended to other establishments.

Lord BELSTEAD

At present only limited use is being made of the outpatient facilities at these four establishments. The Government would like to see them being used more extensively and if justified would be prepared to consider the addition of similar facilities at other establishments.
