§ Mr. Dubsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he intends to 609W bring into operation the remaining sections of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979.
Mr. MorroSections 48 and 49 of the Act came into force in England and Wales on 16 July 1979. It is intended that the rest of parts I and III should come into force in the first half of next year, with part II following as soon as possible thereafter.
