§ Mr. David HowellThe amount of detail reported on crude oil import prices was increased with effect from November 1979. Collection of data on prices of oil product imports was increased in frequency from quarterly to monthly with effect from April 1980. Earlier publication of summary energy statistics, utilising data already collected, was introduced in a monthly press notice with effect from July 1980.
