§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Lord Privy Seal if Her Majesty's Government will take action in the United Nations Organisation to support the proposal made by West Germany that the United Nations Organisation should set up a register to record world-wide exports and imports of weapons.
§ Mr. HurdThe Government have noted this proposal with interest and look forward to seeing further details. They believe that it might usefully be taken up by the United Nations, in the context of a wider study on the control of conventional arms.
