§ Mr. Millanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what will be the total cost to local authorities in 1980–81 of all the recommendations of the Standing Commission on pay comparability, the Clegg Commission, so far agreed; and if he will give a breakdown of the total for each group of employees concerned.
§ Mr. YoungerDetailed costings to be made later in the financial year, in consultation with the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities, will depend on the numbers employed in the various staff groups.
