§ Mr. MonroGrant-in-aid to the Sports Council for 1980–81 is £19.159 million. The number of staff employed by the Sports Council on 31 March was 572, of whom 142 are based at headquarters, 145 in nine regional offices and 285 in the six national sports centres.

§ Mr. Brightasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what figures are available for the consumption of water by domestic households in the areas covered by the new water authorities; and what are the national figures.
§ Mr. FoxWater authorities do not record the domestic consumption of water using the household as a unit. Consequently, no representative figures are available from which the consumption of water by domestic households could be calculated for water authority areas. However, information on consumption per household is available from published reports on domestic water usage at Malvern, Fylde and Mansfield and is given below.
