§ Mr. Geoffrey FinsbergI agreed that £10,000 should be provided for redecoration of parts of Norman Shaw South; the colour scheme was agreed in advance with the House authorities. Other work expected to be carried out this year consists of external repairs (£10,000), improvements to Members' and staff lavoratories (£20,000) and a general uplift of furnishings (£10,000).

§ Mr. Geoffrey FinsbergThe 1980–81 programme of work for Norman Shaw South includes improvements to Members' and staff lavatories on the south side of the building, internal redecoration of the corridors and staircases on the ground and first floors and a general uplift of furnishings. I hope that it will be possible to modernise one of the lifts next year.
