§ Mr. HurdWe regard the West Bank as occupied territory from which, as part of a peace settlement and subject to any minor border rectifications negotiated between the parties, Israel will have to withdraw in accordance with Security Council resolution 242. The future of the West Bank after Israeli withdrawal is a matter for negotiation between the parties directly concerned.
