asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) what progress has been made in police inquiries into the following murders by the Irish Republican Army in County Fermanagh: of Gunner Gordon, RA, on 22 August 1972, Leading Gunner Wynne, RA, on 22 August 1972, Mr. Meek, Mr. Henson, Mr. Akin, Mr. Edgar and Mr. Thomas, all British Broacasting Corporation engineers, on 9 February 1971, Regular Constable Calvin, RUCR, on 17 November 1972, Private Earns, 4th UDR, on 25 August 1972 and Lance Corporal Johnston, 4th UDR, on 25 August 1972;

(2) what progress has been made in police inquiries into the following murders by the Irish Republican Army in County Fermanagh; of Lance Corporal Creighton, 4th UDR on 7 August 1972, Private Bell, 4th UDR on 24 October 1972, Miss S. Crowe, Missionary, on 7 July 1979, Mr Deering, JP, shop-owner, on 13 May 1977, Regular Constable Crilly, RUCR, on 3 January, Constable Howe, RUC, on 11 February, Constable Rose, RUC, on 11 February, Constable Brown, RUC, on 13 March 1977 and Gunner Husband, RA, and Gunner Robinson, RA;

(3) what progress has been made in police inquiries into the follwoing murders by the Irish Republican Army in County Fermanagh: of Detective Constable Prue, Royal Ulster Constabulary, on 6 May 1979, of Constable Keys, Royal Ulster Constabulary, on 28 November 1972, of Corporal Abercrombie, 4th Ulster Defence Regiment on 5 February 1980, of J. McClaghan, ex-Ulster Defence Regiment, on 19 May 1979, of Mrs. Kilfedder on 1 June 1975, of Private Fletcher, 4th Ulster Defence Regiment, on 1 March 1971, of Private Ferguson, 4th Ulster Defence Regiment, on 28 June 1978, of Private Lucy, 4th Ulster Defence Regiment, on 8 September 1973, of Mr. Fee, on 21 August 1978, of Reserve Constable Ketty, Reserve Constable Evans, Royal Ulster Constabulary Reserve and Sergeant Keys, Royal Ulster Constabulary Reserve, on 15 May 1976; and if he will make a statement;

(4) what progress has been made in police inquiries into the following murders by the Irish Republican Army in County Fermanagh: of Corporal Powell, Regular Army, on 28 October 1971, of Staff/Sergeant Robson, Regular Army, on 7 February 1975, of Private Vietch, 4th Ulster Defence Regiment on 3 September 1971. of Warrant Officer Class II Mad-docks, ATO, on 2 December 1974, of Lieutenant-Colonel Saunderson, Ex 4th Ulster Defence Regiment, on 10 April 1974, of Private Bullock, 4th Ulster Defence Regiment and Mrs. Bullock, on 21 October 1972, of Mr. McAdam, on 12 October 1973, of Inspector Donegan, of the Garda, on 8 June 1972, of Staff Sergeant Walsh, ATO, on 9 September 1977, of Sergeant Beckett, ATO, on 30 August 1973, of Mr. Morrow, ex-Ulster Defence Regiment, and of Mr. Trotter, on 29 September 1972, and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Humphrey Atkins

To date, one person has been charged in connection with these killings; that of Mr. J. Mc-Clenaghan, an ex-member of the Ulster Defence Regiment, who was killed on 179 May 1979. Police inquiries are continuing into the other deaths.
