§ Mr. Peter Robinsonasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how much money has been spent on industrial development publicity during the past three years; if he will give full details as to the way the money was spent, and in what countries, for the past three years; how many firms from each country invested in Northern Ireland as a result of this publicity; and how many jobs were created.
§ Mr. RossiExpenditure on industrial development publicity between April 1977 453W and March 1980 was £2,400,184; details are given in table 1 below. Details of the number of jobs promoted since 1 January 1978 in overseas companies investing in Northern Ireland for the first time are given in table 2, but it should be noted that the purpose of publicity is to influence
