§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeA demonstration of clear pass mudflaps took place at the Transport and Road Research Laboratory last year; the reduction in spray observed did not appear substantial. Tests will be carried out this summer with improved measuring techniques to assess the performance of clear pass more accurately and determine the reasons for any differences between British and foreign test results.
