§ 32. Mr. Grimondasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what consideration he has given to the " Highlands and Islands Structural Policy", issued on 31 March by the National Farmers Union of Scotland; and whether Her Majesty's Government intend to put forward any of its recommendations to the European Economic Community.
§ Mr. YoungerI have studied the union's proposals with interest, in the context of the structural measures proposed by the Commission of the European Communities last year and currently under consideration by the Council of Ministers. I hope to discuss them with the union's president later this month.
