§ Mr. Whitehead
asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what representation of the general public there was on the Supplementary Benefits Commission and the National Insurance Commission; and what is proposed for the Social Security Advisory Committee.

The relevant legislation provides for some members of the National Insurance Advisory Committee and, in future, the Social Security Advisory Committee, to be representative of 435W certain interests.
