§ Mr. Jim LesterI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that as part of the staff cuts required of the Commission, reductions are to be made in the number of staff employed in Professional and Executive Recruitment (PER).
To help achieve this it may be necessary to reduce the present number of offices and an examination of the PER network, with particular reference to the smaller offices, is now being made.
The North Staffordshire office will be included in the review, but no decision as to its future has yet been taken.
