§ Mr. Patrick JenkinI had a preliminary meeting on 10 March with the general purposes committee of the General Whitley Council staff side—representing NHS staff of all occupations—to discuss these and other staffing matters relating to the proposed NHS reorganisation. Arrangements for detailed negotiations with staff interests are now being made.
