§ Mr. Michael McGuireasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, in the light of the fact that the wives and families of men serving prison sentences in Northern Ireland who live in England do not receive financial assistance to help them with prison visits, but that such financial assistance is available where the men are in prison in England, Scotland or Wales, if he will re-examine this anomaly with a view to providing equitable treatment for all prisoners within the United Kingdom.
