§ Mr. Wallasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what action he intends to take to implement the Franks panel report; and what progress has been made in the discussions he is now having with the pharmaceutical services committee.
§ Mr. Patrick JenkinI have offered a package deal on remuneration which I believe fairly reflects the panel's intentions but which the committee has so far felt unable to accept. I am considering sympathetically the panel's recommendation for the establishment of a review body, and hope shortly to write further to the committee both about this and about the question of remuneration.
