§ Mr. McCrindleasked the Secretary of State for Trade on what date he anticipates the commencement of regular scheduled air services between London and Peking.
§ Mr. Tebbit[pursuant to his reply, 17 March 1980]: A British Airways team is currently in Peking for discussions about the technical and operating arrangements for services between London and Peking. These discussions are still continuing, and until they are completed I cannot say when services will start. British Airways hopes to be able to start its services by the end of April.
