§ Mr. Jim LesterMy right hon. Friend has given careful consideration to the representations which he has received from the Institute of Careers Officers, including this resolution. It is the Government's policy not to exempt any services, except those of law and order, from their call for a reduction in public 21W expenditure and my right hon. Friend is replying to the institute accordingly.
