§ Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Energy (1) if the assessment carried out by his Department into the security implications of the shipment of plutonium nitrate from Dounreay to Windscale has been submitted to him in the form of a report;
(2) if he will publish his Department's study of the security implications of the shipment of plutonium from Dounreay to Windscale.
§ Mr. Norman Lamont[pursuant to his reply, 11 March 1980 c. 518]: The security aspects of the proposed arrangements were fully considered between the Department of Energy and other appro- 684W priate Departments and organisations. The Government are satisfied with those aspects; it would not however, be in the public interest to publish the advice to the Government on this matter.
